Antonov An-22

(Russian AĐ˝-22) Antaeus - a Soviet tran sport plane designed by Oleg Antonov design office. Aircraft inte nded for the transport of troops and cargo and the exploration of minerals. Equipped with turboprop engines, Kuznetsov NK-12, whic h also drove the aircraft Tu-95 and Tu-142 family of airplanes bombing and patrol. NK-12 was used the most powerful turbine engine propeller. The first airplane flight took place on February 27, 1965 year.
